The Yukon Literacy Coalition Website
The purpose and responsibilities of the Yukon Literacy Coalition are drawn from the 2001 Yukon Literacy Strategy, community consultations, and the direction of the Literacy Working Group. The founding belief of the Yukon Literacy Coalition was, and continues to be, that communities know their challenges, know their resources and should be supported in meeting their literacy goals.
The Yukon Literacy Coalition focuses its activities into eight areas of responsibility:
